Donnybrook Hall impressed with its spotless cleanliness and cozy ambiance. The hosts, Terry and Martina, always greeted me with genuine warmth. Each morning, I enjoyed a fresh breakfast that varied daily, showcasing local flavors. My room, the Large Single Room, featured a comfy bed along with tea and coffee facilities, which was a nice touch. Location-wise, it’s slightly farther from downtown, necessitating a 40-minute walk or a bus ride. however, the nearby amenities made it manageable. I did notice issues with the Wi-Fi strength at times, making it tough to stay connected. Despite this, the overall experience felt welcoming and engaging.

The best and worst parts
Staff members were genuinely friendly, and my room was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bathroom, offering great WiFi access.
The lack of breakfast options and a real leisure seating area was disappointing. it felt more like just a sleeping space.

The location was fantastic! We strolled to nearby UCD with the grandkids, who loved the open spaces. The service was wonderful. Terry and his family were really welcoming, making us feel at home. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, perfect for our large family.
For dads, it would be great if there were larger towels for adults.

Super comfy and welcoming!
Had an amazing stay! The room was super clean and the bed felt like a cloud. Terry and Martina were so friendly and gave great tips about where to eat nearby. A lovely breakfast spot was just down the road for some good local bites. Only wish there were more dining options right around the corner.

The rooms were adorned with charming vintage decor and the staff was exceptionally friendly, always ready to assist with local tips. I appreciated the easy public transport access to explore beautiful Dublin.
The door needed a bit of a nudge to close properly, and occasionally the morning sounds from the nearby school could be a tad distracting.
